Manufactring technology laboratory

The aim of our lab is to introduce students to different manufacturing technologies. In addition to traditional machining, such as turning and milling, we will demonstrate advanced CNC machining, which includes in-machine workpiece and tooling fixturing.

In addition to turning, we can also demonstrate waterjet cutting technology, which can cut a variety of materials without thermal shock. We also have pressure and vacuum forming equipment to demonstrate plastic processing.
In a separate room, we have a welding laboratory where we can demonstrate spot and stud welding in addition to flame, AVI, CO2 welding.

For the demonstration of additive manufacturing technology, we have a rapid prototyping machine that solidifies layers using a polyjet process (UV light).
