In our CAD/CAM laboratory high-tech Lenovo Thinkstation P300 Workstations (Intel Xeon E3-1226 v3 quad-core processzor, 16 GB ram, Nvdia Quadro 620) with Benq 24” monitors are available to students for study and research purposes. With this infrastructure in the air conditioned laboratory up to date knowledge can be acquired which meets with industrial requirements. Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) techniques used at international companies can be studied with the most popular commercial software.
Part- and assembly design, engineering drawing creation are educated with up to date version of Autodesk Inventor and Solid Edge. Ansys Workbench is used in Finite Element Modeling and ADAMS is educated during the course Multibody Dynamics. For general numerical modeling purposes Matlab is considered. Not only the design but also the accurate and effective manufacturing is essential in the engineering practice, therefore our students use EdgeCAM for CNC programing and tool path design. In our Institute not only virtual manufacturing can be studied but you can also try our CNC machines for manufacturing real parts.
Practical knowledge is in the focus in our educational strategy, thus modeling techniques are introduced with practical examples in all of our courses. Project work is also included in most of our subjects, moreover the possibility of scientific research is also open for the students. This approach ensures obtaining real knowledge which you can use anywhere in the world in the engineering field.
